We can offer you the following tasks

 

  • Take ownership of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy, completeness, and relevance to support IT services. 
  • Establish and enforce CMDB policies, standards, and procedures. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capture configuration items, relationships, and dependencies. 
  • Implement and maintain CM to track and control changes in the IT environment. 
  • Coordinate with IT teams to ensure that all changes are properly documented and reflected in the CMDB. 
  • Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of configuration data. 
  • Establish and manage configuration baselines to provide a stable reference point for monitoring changes and troubleshooting. 
  • Utilize expertise in ServiceNow to configure and customize the CMDB module to meet organizational needs. 
  • Provide support for ServiceNow configurations, workflows, and integrations related to configuration management. 
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators to optimize the platform for efficient configuration management.
  • Work closely with IT teams, including Change Management, Incident Management, and Release Management
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote understanding and adherence to configuration management best practices. 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements 
  • Stay current on industry trends and technologies  
  • Conduct training sessions for IT teams to promote awareness

 

You can help us with these qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in IT configuration management, with a focus on maintaining configuration baselines and managing changes
  • Strong understanding of configuration management tools and best practices
  • Experience or familiarity with change and incident management processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good German and English Knowledge
  • ITIL certification is a plus
