• Project Responsibility: Managing Mega Heat Pump projects as site manager (30 MWth – 200+ MWth).
• Client & Stakeholder Contact: Main contact for clients, authorities, and contractors.
• Legal Compliance: Acting as Legal Entity Site Manager, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Reporting: Regular updates to the Project Manager.
• Claim Management: Supporting claim processes with the Project Manager.
• Procurement Oversight: Coordinating with the purchasing team.
• Commercial Success: Ensuring project profitability and progress tracking.
• Compliance & Integrity: Comply to company guidelines.
• Site Planning & Preparation: Organizing and structuring site activities.
• Construction Site Organization: Setting up and leading site operations.
• Team Leadership: Managing site managers, technical teams, and subcontractors.
• Safety & Installation: Ensuring proper and safe installation & commissioning.
• Site Monitoring: Overseeing activities and reporting progress.
• Budget & Cost Management: Ensuring budget adherence.
• Issue Resolution: Coordinating troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Aligning subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Quality & Compliance: Meeting safety and regulatory standards (HSE).
• Documentation: Creating reports, logs, and construction records.

 

• Supervision Responsibilities:
 

  • Site Activities: Overseeing all operations and execution.
  • Construction & Installation: Ensuring proper planning, preparation, and execution.
  • Field Service & Manpower: Managing internal and external staff.
  • Subcontractors: Coordinating and supervising third-party activities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforcing HSE and legal standards.
  • Budget & Costs: Monitoring and assisting in budget management.
  • Project Progress: Tracking and reporting milestones.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring high standards in work and materials.
  • Communication: Leading meetings and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting: Addressing issues efficiently.
  • Procurement: Managing purchasing processes.

You can help us with these qualifications

 

• Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience: Several years in large-scale construction projects as site manager, preferably in the energy sector (experience with rotating equipment is an advantage).
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of heat pump systems, construction methodologies, and project management software.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams, including subcontractors and local staff.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve issues efficiently.
• Budget Management: Experience in cost control and financial oversight.
• Compliance: Familiarity with HSE regulations and company compliance guidelines.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to changing project requirements and environments.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with turbomachinery and MAN ES products is an advantage.
• Standards & Certifications: Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 (OHSAS 18001).
• Communication: Strong intercultural, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken & written); German or additional languages are an advantage.
• Decision-Making: Strong analytical skills and structured decision-making.
• Reporting Skills: Ability to accurately translate technical data into reports.
• Software Knowledge: Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, SAP, and project planning tools (e.g., GANTT diagrams).
• Mobility: Willingness to travel and commit to long-term project assignments.
