We can offer you the following tasks

 

We are looking for reinforcement for our ‘Intelligent Automations Solution’ at the Oberhausen site. As an Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in analysing, automating and optimising processes. With your technical expertise and understanding of business processes, you will help us drive innovation and help shape the working world of tomorrow.

  • Development and programming of PLC controls and HMIs -  responsibility for the conception, planning, and programming of PLC Controls and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for our plants
  • Development of intelligent automation solutions – development of innovative control algorithms (including MPC, RL, AI-based) to enhance the efficiency and availability of our equipment
  • Design of modern control architectures – design of forward-thinking control architectures considering Cyber Security requirements to ensure the reliability and security of our systems
  • Conducting software acceptance tests - execution comprehensive Digital Twin-based software acceptance tests to ensure that the developed solutions meet quality standards
  • Project management and involvement in process plant simulation – leading or participation in projects involving the simulation of process plants with turbomachinery to test and optimize realistic scenarios

You can help us with these qualifications

 

 

  • Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field of study
  • Professional experience in the design and programming of PLC controls (PCS7, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS NEO, Allen-Bradley)
  • Programming skills in Matlab, Python, C/C++/C#, VBA, or R are desirable
  • Knowledge in the field of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
  • Experience in using low-code or no-code software development platforms
  • Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
