We can offer you the following tasks

 

For the further strategic development of our Marine segment, we are looking for a Sales Manager for Marine Propulsion Systems (m/f/d) at our location in Augsburg. As a Sales Manager, you are part of a dedicated international team and contribute directly and independently to the company's success. In this position, you will be responsible for global sales projects for marine engines and complete marine propulsion systems for patrol boats, complex warships and other government applications. Our global customers include navies, coastguards, shipyards, shipowners and design offices. The main tasks are as follows:

 

  • Management of international sales projects together with the global MAN organization
  • Presentation of products and solutions to customers such as procurement organizations, naval forces and shipyards
  • Management of the tender team consisting of a large number of specialist departments in tenders and preparation of commercial offers
  • Conducting technical and commercial contract negotiations up to the conclusion of contracts for complex large-scale projects
  • Representation of the company at international trade fairs and conferences

 

You can help us with these qualifications

 

  • Very good degree in a technical degree program or industrial engineering
  • First practical experience in technical sales, e.g. through internships of several months or working student activities
  • High customer orientation and good communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with a high focus on results
  • High analytical ability, pronounced quality standards and willingness to go into technical detail
  • Intercultural competence and experience in an international environment, e.g. through a stay abroad during your studies
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
  • Business fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
