We can offer you the following tasks

 

We are looking for several Sales Managers for the further strategic development of our Navy segment. As a Sales Manager you will be part of a dedicated international team and contribute directly and independently to the company's success. In this position you will be responsible for international sales projects in the medium and high speed segment in close coordination with regional sales colleagues as well as the company organization at headquarters.

 

The main tasks are in detail:

 

  • Defining, planning and executing the winning bid strategy to create competitive bids
  • Analysis of inquiry specifications and definition of suitable propulsion systems including preparation of the technical scope of supply
  • Bid preparation of comprehensive marine propulsion systems including their propulsion components such as gearboxes and propeller systems
  • Conducting contract negotiations with the customer up to contract conclusion (if necessary in coordination with the legal department) as well as leading interdisciplinary bid teams
  • Order/project handover to the order processing department
  • Participation in trade fairs, seminars and customer events

 

You can help us with these qualifications

 

  • Completed university studies in an technical related area or a comparable qualification
  • Sound commercial knowledge and high technical affinity
  • Relevant professional experience in sales or contract management, referably in plant engineering
  • Very good written and spoken German and English, other languages are an advantage
  • High social competence, communicative personality and understanding of customer processes as well as important business contexts
  • Independent, structured and committed way of working
  • Experience in international business and in dealing with different cultures
  • Willingness to travel occasionally on business (also at short notice)
