We can offer you the following tasks
As Tendering Manager for Power Plants, you will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of tenders for the core business of the Power Segment, from the engine supply project to the finished power plant as an EPC solution. You assign tasks for technical design and cost calculation to specific specialist departments in various organisational units and combine realistic planned costs and schedules into a coherent overall concept. Through your conscientious work, you enable the creation of an attractive and specific solution for our customers and achieve the approval of these projects by the respective management.
Your main areas of activity will be:
- Project management of power plant projects and solutions with changing team members from all required areas
- Responsible for the tendering (focus on technology) of complex international energy projects that utilise our core products gas engines and combine them with integrated intelligent energy management systems
- Analysing and clarifying the customer's tender documents
- Define, plan and execute the bidding strategy for the preparation of competitive bids in close co-operation with sales engineering and other related departments
- Support in the preparation of execution schedules
- Calculating the costs for the entire scope of supply and services of the offer and preparing the contribution margin calculation
- Conducting (technical) contract negotiations with the customer
You can help us with these qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, power plant engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualification
- Experience in leading project teams with a responsible and cooperative working style as well as experience in project management
- Good knowledge of plant engineering, especially in the power plant industry, is desirable
- Intercultural competence
- Business fluent English and German is essential, a second foreign language is desirable
- Willingness to occasionally travel and spend time abroad
- Confident handling of MS Office products, incl. MS Project and other common PC applications
